Dear Colleagues,
The surgical management of gynecologic malignancies is undergoing a profound transformation driven by advances in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, improved understanding of tumor biology, and increasing emphasis on personalized treatment strategies. Contemporary surgical approaches seek not only to maximize oncologic outcomes but also to reduce morbidity and preserve quality of life through tailored and, when appropriate, less radical procedures. This Special Issue aims to provide an updated overview of current innovations and emerging trends in gynecologic oncology surgery, including the integration of novel technologies, precision surgery, sentinel lymph node techniques, fertility-preserving approaches, and surgical de-escalation strategies. We welcome original research, reviews, and expert perspectives addressing the management of cervical, endometrial, ovarian, vulvar, and vaginal cancers, with the goal of highlighting evidence-based advances that are shaping the future of gynecologic cancer care.
